This is the stuff

I was married almost three years ago, and while most people would say "It's been the best almost three years of my life!", I'm saying "It's been the best almost three years of my life, but also the toughest almost three years of my life!" I'm being honest here. My husband and our relationship are awesome, our child is awesome (oh trust me, I could go on forever about that girl), but we've been through and are going through some struggles that just suck. I'll get into it eventually, but I'm learning that God uses us how we are. Not the perfect, happy homemaker we wish we were, but the imperfect, can't-function-without-coffee, would-rather-sew-than-do-housework, lives-in-her-sweats-most-days stay at home mom that I am. So I'm stealing a song title for my blog title, because it just fit so well for what I am and what I want this blog to be.

I lost my keys in the great unknown
And call me please
Cause I can't find my phone

(CHORUS)
This is the stuff
That drives me crazy
This is the stuff
That's getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff
That gets under my skin
But I've gotta trust
You know exactly what Your doing
Might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use

45 in a 35
Sirens and fines
While I'm running behind

(CHORUS)

To break me of impatience
Conquer my frustrations
I've got a new appreciation
It's not the end of the world...

This is the stuff
That drives me crazy
This is the stuff
Someone save me
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed
This is the stuff
That gets under my skin
But I've gotta trust
You know exactly what You're doing
Might not be what I would choose
But this is the stuff You use
